What I’m Loving: Volume 2
Because I just started this blog not too long ago, I feel like I have so much on my brain to share. I am trying to stay organized with my ideas, but honestly, I am very Type B and just know that my “organization” ideas won’t last long. This is going to be a random assortment of things I love.
Devotional for Mothers: I LOVE this devotional. I got it a few months into being a mom and every time I read it, I am so encouraged. It is very relatable if you are a new mom!
BSF: Speaking of devotionals and prayer, I am so excited to start up BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) in just a few weeks. This is a worldwide Bible Study, where everyone studies the same lessons each week. This year, we are studying Romans, whereas last year we studied “The Exiles.” It is very scripture based and really makes you dig deep to think about the Bible and what it says. Some people say it is intense, but I love it. You can find a local class on their website! I did not know a single person when I signed up last year, but it ended up being one of my favorite things, especially postpartum. Also, they have childcare!
Hair Brush: Random, but I love this hair brush. My scalp took a few days to get used to it because it has metal bristles, but now I don’t use anything else. What really drew me to this brush is the fact that it doesn’t have those little balls at the end of each bristle that collect hair/dust/fuzz (impossible to clean off).
Beauty Blenders: Love these. They are so inexpensive and work just as well as the expensive kind. I’ve used these for years! I try to replace my beauty blender every 2 weeks.
Elta MD Sunscreen: This is a newer product to me. I used to use the Elta MD Clear sunscreen, but found it to be a little too heavy for me, especially when I wore it under makeup. I also found that it pilled under my makeup? This might be a unique experience though, because several people I’ve talked to haven’t had this issue. I like this sunscreen because it is lightweight, has higher SPF, and works well under my makeup! You also get more bang for your buck in terms of cost per ounce.
Polarized Sunglasses: I never prioritized polarized sunglasses until recently. Terrible, I know. Now that I have been consistently using polarized sunglasses, I can really tell a difference and don’t think that I will be going back to non-polarized glasses. I tried these cheap pair recently and didn’t love the style. If you have any recommendations, please send them my way! I just can’t have an expensive pair of glasses because I have a 15 month old and she would destroy them.
