Pregnancy Favorites

I am pregnant with our second baby (we are having a boy!), due in January. I have a few pregnancy favorites to share. As always, check with your OB and donβt blindly trust me for medical advice please.
Prenatal: Iβve taken this prenatal with both pregnancies and havenβt had any issues.
Choline: Make sure you get in choline while pregnant! It helps with spinal cord and brain formation. If you eat a lot of eggs, youβll get in some good choline!
NAC: Iβve taken this supplement with both pregnancies. I take it for my sinuses and allergies, as I find it helps me, but Iβve also seen some research about women taking it to help conceive. My doctor gave me the green light on this supplement, but please ask your own OB!
Pregnancy leggings: I have loved these. I find they work best when my bump gets bigger or else the over the belly part can be kind of loose.
Pregnancy pillow: I am a big stomach sleeper and I slept on my stomach until around 30 weeks with my first pregnancy. I didnβt want a huge pillow in our bed and settled on this one. Itβs super easy to store!
Electrolytes: I try to drink more electrolytes when pregnant. I love these ones in the flavor, βlemonade.β
Magnesium Lotion: Towards the end of my last pregnancy, I got really bad Charlie horses at night in my legs. I would rub magnesium lotion on my legs before going to sleep and it helps so much!
Body Lotion: I used this lotion when pregnant with my first baby and loved it! It is great for sensitive skin.
Biker shorts: This time around, Iβve loved biker shorts. Iβve tried the CRZ yoga kind (usually Iβm a huge CRZ yoga fan), but I actually didnβt love their biker shorts. I prefer this brand! They have a little more compression and donβt show sweat as much as the CRZ.
Ultrasound Ornament: Once I had my anatomy scan ultrasound pictures, I went on Etsy and ordered this sweet ornament. Itβs so sweet to have an ornament at Christmas that is a sweet memory of being pregnant. This is currently out of stock, but keep checking- it is the cutest!
Newborn Photos: I am a sucker for any type of professional photos, but especially for newborn and baby photos. I got my photographer on the books right around 10 weeks. The photographer I use is in Gadsden, so itβs a bit of a drive for me, but she is so worth it!! I will always cherish the newborn photos.
Maternity clothes: Old navy has great maternity clothes! I always have a hard time justifying buying a bunch of new clothes while pregnant, but donβt feel as bad buying some from places like Old Navy or Poshmark, because Iβm not paying an arm and leg for something Iβm wearing for a few months only.
Baby Book: I love this baby book so much. I started mine when I was pregnant with our daughter. It is so easy because you can do everything from your phone and they send you the pages when the chapters are complete. There is a dedicated pregnancy section in the baby book, so I like to get a head start and start documenting before baby gets here.
I will share more favorites as I think of them! Hoping to make a post soon on cute baby keepsakes. Also, if you have any recommendations for maternity jeans, PLEASE SHARE! I have not found a pair that I love yet.
